Details and Takeaways:

I joined Deck 13 as a technical design intern. During this time I already gained ownership over new and existing systems. I took initiative when it came to identifying and executing improvements and made significant enhancements to the coop side of the game. For this, I was offered to stay as a student assistant in technical design, which is my current position on the project.

I strive to make a lasting impact. Not only by directly working on the game, but also by contributing many other aspects of development.
I've learned characteristics and nuances of the in-house engine, and with the help of my technical background, I now actively help to educate the design department on topics like how to build scalable and flexible gameplay systems, given the available tools. Likewise, I advocate for the needs of the design department and regularly discuss possible improvements with the tools development team.
