Student of Games Engineering B.Sc.

About:

Hey!

I am Quirin Maier, currently at the end of my Games Engineering Bachelor studies in Würzburg, Germany. At the moment, I am a working student and Technical Designer at Deck13 on Atlas Fallen.

I love making games and as a result, you will find a diverse collection of projects here. My main interests are in gameplay programming, procedural content generation, game design, as well as the intersections between those fields. I love prototyping new mechanics and iterating over existing ones. Learning new things is something I do not shy away from and actively enjoy.

I am incredibly fortunate that I found something that I enjoy as much as game development, and love to work in teams that do so as well.

Projects:

This is a selection of projects I've worked on. You'll find a mixture of professional, personal, and student projects.

Game development is my passion, game jams are my hobby, and therefore my collection of games I've created is growing steadily. If you want to play a game showcased here or want to take a look at more recent game jam projects, that might still need some polishing, feel free to take a look at my personal itch.io account.
